Nowadays we could find lots of spiritual leaders offering many kinds of curing methods to our staggered mind. I think this has become a well managed business network. Every organisations have branches in all over the world and huge amount money of involved in it. Why people are around these types of pseudo mystics? May be because of they need instant cure and I wondered hearing the number of software engineers participated in an event conducted by one of these organisation in Banglore.
These mystic people have magnetic personality or pretended to be more impressive to attract the disciples. In most cases they are using this spiritual aura to cover their actual intensions. Some of them perform miracles, something like taking ash and ornaments from air to amaze the crowd. But there are solid evidences against these fallacies.
Every human beings have beautiful minds which can weep when sorrow comes, laugh when happiness comes and it do not have a fixed state; that differs us from the animals. Is it necessary to allow others to rule our mind and help them to make money? Be yourself and enjoy the life.
Yesterday women’s bill was introduced to the Rajya Sabha, which provides 33.3 percentage of seat in parliament and state assembly for woman. However the bill has got support from major political parties in India, there have been some oppositions. The main arguments which support the bill are
It would increase the woman participation in political parties which result the empowerment of deprived women in India.
It would bring gender equality.
In a democratic country like India political leaders are selected by the people based on their ability, qualities and their political views etc. These types of reservations will result the political parties to seek new candidates to fill their reserved seats. Finally deserved candidates will be expelled and the voters will have no other way to vote the new candidates. Already 22.5 percentage of seat has been reserved for scheduled cast and tribes, including this 33.3 percentage 55 percentage of parliament seat would be reserved.
We have lots of admired women leaders who have reached heights without the shadow of reservation. What I believe is that every one in India has opportunity beyond any limits of gender, cast and religion can reach to any position if they have the ability.
For that last few months we have witnessed several incidents of elephant attacks which caused the death of many people. I could not understand why we are still following these types of irrelevant traditions? In Kerala elephants are unavoidable part of the ceremonial processions in temples but once you watch that video you could not tolerate to this. What I believe is that all idols, religious customs were made to improve or glorify the human life, not to destroy. Elephants are wild animals so keep them in the forest to live their natural life.
