Gmail-priority-inbox

Today I activated Google’s priority inbox option. Even if it is in a beta version I find it very useful. It shows the starred messages in the inbox in separate section which is very useful for me since I forget all the time to recheck the starred messages. This new option opens up a new link called “priority inbox” in the left hand side and also we can prioritise the email conversations.

Attach huge files with send tools

SendTools is wbsite where users can upload files to share with their friends via social networks. This is an amazing simple website with capability of upload files with 10 Mb. Sendtools is going to increase the file size up to 2GB with in a week. Future plan is to expand this service with the ability to compose Newsletters and import all of your contacts from your favourite email clients and social networks, this will allow people with huge contact lists over several email accounts to simply connect their contacts to SendTools and send personalised Newsletters / emails or files from it.

Kappil Beach Varkkala

Kappil is a small town situated near Varkala around 54 Kilometres from Thiruvananthapuram city. Kappil beach is a wonderful place where we could feel the real beauty of lake and sea together. The vibrant colours of refracted sun rays embellish the sea shore during sunsets. Since it is not established as a tourist place yet, it is very calm and quiet.

Maruthva Hills

Maruthva hills is around 50 kilometres from Trivandrum city. It was an excellent experience in climbing 2000 feet high mountain. Initially we felt a little bit tired but at the top there was a cave where cool fresh air is blowing which wiped out all tiredness. Western gutt ends in that part of Kanya Kumari and we get a full view of Southern Tip of the Indian Subcontinent.
The Maruthuva Mala, an abode of medicinal plants, forms part of the Western Ghats. According to tradition, the Marunthu Vazhum Malai was a fragment of the Sanjeevi mountain, which fell down here while it was being carried by Hanuman from Mahendragiri to Sri Lanka for healing the wounds of Lakshmana, brother of Lord Rama.
There are nine `theerthams’ — Siva, Agasthiyar, Hanumar, Palar, Sita, Rama, Devendaran, Brhama and Kalidhasan — in this hill.

I remember – “Naxalite is the one who like his country more than the rest of us and thus more disturbed”. The movie Thalappavu portraits the story of  Naxal Varghese who lead the Naxal movements in kerala in 1960’s. There were several speculations had been going on those days against the naxal movements in Kerala. But we don’t know what had provoked the young bloods to do such dreaded murders? The entire social set up was different or might be a lot of anarchy was there. Even if the killings were not excusable, the community might need that at the time. I hope this movie will surely create wave among the youth and will inspire them to rebel the injustice that has been going on nowadays. In this film Madhupal is wearing the role of a director for the first time. Prithviraj plays main the role , cinematographer, Azhakappan handles camera for the film and Alex Paul composes music.

After the big hit of “Veruthe Oru Bharya”, Jayaram’s new movie “Parthan Kanda Paralokam” scheduled to release on Onam. This fil is based on the story by K B Raju and it seems to be a comedy entertainer. Jayaram plays the character of Parthasarathy who eventually became atheist after the death of his father. Vagamon – Place of Enchanting Meadows

I visited lots of hill stations in kerala like munnar, ponmudi etc, but it was something different which I felt while I was on the way to Vagamon. I don’t know whether it was because of the climate of that particular day, the wind blew from the West and the streaking sunlight made the atmosphere exotic. We halted several places through out our journey to feel the cool bracing climate and the stunning views of hills covered with floating clouds.

The most attraction in Vagamon is the beautiful meadows. I have never seen such a place with sparkling green grass lands. I spotted some places which entirely look like grass lands in Australia which I saw before in photographs. The nearest railway station is located at Kottayam at a distance of 60 kilometres and the nearest airport lies at a distance 100 kilometres in Cochin, Kerala, South India. Located on the Idukki-Kottayam border, Vagamon offers an ideal base for para gliding, trekking, rock climbing and other engrossing adventure sports.
