WordPress Blog And PhpBB Forum Integration with WP-United
Forums are powerful platforms for user generated contents and there by increases the traffic to websites. So many bloggers have started their own forums. We have several tools available to integrate forums with wordpress blogs. But sometimes it is very hard to tweak the forum templates with respect to the blogs. I feel Wp-united is a powerful tool which integrates phpBB3 and Wordpress 2.3.x. The configurations are simple and easy to follow.
All installation steps are explained in the install.xml file in the wp- united package. Initially you have to upload the wp-united files to corresponding location as specified. After that you have to tweak some phpBB forum files. I provide you phpbb3 files that has been tweaked for wp-united integration, hence you can directly upload them to the specified location. It will make you one step easier 
. Then logon to forum control panel after running wpu-install.php in the root folder of the wp-united package(Upload it to the root folder and call the url to this file) and there will be a wp-united tab which will lead you to the configuration process.

Hi,
I am in need to integrate the wordpress with phpbb. but i have tried a lot and can’t get where to have the phpbb files please help me on this
test/ –> this was my root folder installed WP
test/forum –> my phpbbforum installed
i need to have my forums on my wordpress side bar
i have downloaded WP-United but don’t know where to be placed and how to be configure this. Please help me on this since this was very urgent. pls……………..

Its only works for 2.3.x wordpress versions. Which is your version?

Thanx for your immediate reply I have understood the flow and path now but facing a different problem now
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare create_user() (previously declared in D:\Program Files\local\xampp\htdocs\others\word\forum\wp-united\wp-functions.php:321) in D:\Program Files\local\xampp\htdocs\others\word\wp-includes\deprecated.php on line 1264
while moving from the step 3-4 on acp_wp-united
I have searched many forums till morning but can’t find a solution.I am using latest version of wp — 2.7.1 phpbb was also latest version. Please help me on this please let me know which version of Wp solve this problem. Please help me as soon as possible.

I think the function in the wp is redeclared in the wp-united. I think it wont work for the wp- 2.7.1 please try 2.3.x.
