Kannur – Witnessing Cold Blooded Murders

Kannur- the most notorious state in Kerala for political killings. For the last three or four months there has been around 12 people killed in Kannur and many political clashes had reported before that. With my knowledge no one including all human right protection organisations taking no remedy to avoid these issues completely. Our media are celebrating the killings and they are not interested in lives of the people, after this media hype usually some compromise occurs between the political parties. The compromise lasts for some months and again leads to the same situation.

Some days back there was a High Court judgement regarding one of the cases in Kannur. It says “Most of the victims in these issues are common people in Kannur “. This statement provoked one political leader in Kerala, he corrected the sentence as “The actual victims are not mere common people they are members of different political parties”. So he knows what is actually happening in Kannur? who all are behind these brutal murders? These people are like heartless animals; they are betraying the whole political aspects to humanness. They are publicly challenging each other in terms of number of killings they committed. I think first time the issues in Kannur got national attention after the attack of AKG Bhavan in Delhi. But still it hasn’t got any importance and sidelined to two day news.

All political parties who are behind these brutal murders should consider the orphaned children, widows, mothers who lost their son and the living victims of the brutal attacks. There must be a solution and we can await a new Kannur without blood shed.

Political intervention prevents Police from taking strict action there by fuelling the chaos in Kannur. If honest officers are given a freehand they would have brought the situation under control quickly.

  2. Sree says:

How furious was Pinarai while responding to Judge’s decision to bring central force to Kannur. This clearly shows they don’t want any external blocking having power in their hand they just want to go-ahead with their political egoistic butchering.

    Shame on them…

If at a later stage, gujarat is recreated in kerala, there would be a clear and perceptible delay. and the abovementioned deaths would be the delay.

Speaking in a language which could be more pleasing to you, :
Any progress of communist forces in India will be dampened by the presence / resistance of anti communist forces.
Similarly, attempts by communal forces to replicate gujarat (or for that matter creation of another pakistan) will be dampened by presence/ resistance of anti communal forces. Speed at which communal forces gain more power will be dampened by such anti communal (read communist) forces. The slowening process is what has happened in kannur.
    BS

Years back the fight was between communist party and congress so what do you mean by slowing the process??

  6. Babu Syed says:

u got it! Consider the scenario wherein the reds havent fought with congss in good old days and let congs culture / influence grow unchecked. NOW it would have been cake walk for the RSS, isnt it? more so after some time, there would be NO cong, No commie. ONLY the RSS.
First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
    Then they came for me
and there was no one left
    to speak out for me.
